The Yoruba vigilante group OPC has declared that it will cease operations against criminals. This is being done because OPC leader Ganiyu Adams is going on trial for murder. The OPC is one of many vigilante groups that have been formed in the last few years to try and cope with rising crime rates. The police are corrupt and largely ineffectual.
