F-117 stealth fighters that flew in the Kosovo War took to painting "Schwack" symbols on their planes after each mission. The symbol was comprised of the silhouette of a 2,000-pound laser-guided bomb superimposed on a horseshoe. Each plane was given one such mark for each bomb successfully placed on its target.--Stephen V Cole
