The decision to have all US Army soldiers wear black berets (denounced by many soldiers as "the Monica Project" in reference to the berets worn by the young woman linked to the President) is only one part of a new project to improve the Army's wardrobe. The move is being pushed by four-star General John Keane, the #2 general in the Army. The next step will be to replace the green shirt and black tie used in Class-A uniforms (the shirt is used as Class B) with a new brown shirt with dark brown tie. This is thought to look "more neat, crisp, and tailored" and to go better with a wide variety of complexions. --Stephen V Cole
