The Taliban earned themselves some international good well in the way they handled the Kashmiri hijackers who landed a stolen aircraft in Kandahar on Dec 25th. The Afghans dealt with the hijackers sternly, no doubt helping to move the negotiations along. When the deal was struck, the Taliban gave the rebels two trucks, and told them to be out of Afghanistan in ten hours or be arrested.
