The camp of a German Provincial Reconstruction Team in northeastern Faizabad, was hit by a small rocket, which did not go off. Such attacks against NATO troops outside the capital are common, if infrequent and generally harmless. Afghans believe in firing off a few rifle shots, or firing a rocket or mortar, to register their disapproval of something.
