 Over a dozen 107mm rockets were fired at three US bases. None hit.

In Khost, coalition and Afghan forces cooperated to remove local warlords who were defying the central government. The show of force allowed the disruptive Shah Zadeh and his followers. US warplanes dropped several bombs in order to impress the wayward warlords.
