Israel has ordered 15,000 medical, security, and rescue workers immunized against smallpox out of concern that Iraq might use this as a biological weapon during the expected US invasion. Israel has decided against immunizing the entire population unless the threat is more specific and is confirmed.--Stephen V Cole
