India says the number of armed Islamic radicals coming into Kashmir from Pakistan has dropped quite a lot. Numbers were not mentioned, and it's well known that the US is helping India install electronic surveillance systems on the Kashmir/Pakistan border. The US is trying to impress India with the effectiveness of American military technology and is expediting the shipment of these sensors to India. For decades, India has purchased most (currently, about 70 percent) of its military equipment from Russia.
