Pakistan has received five helicopters from the United States and is using them to search for al Qaeda and Taliban in the Northwest Tribal Territories. There are at least a dozen US FBI agents operating in Pakistan to help with the search for terrorists. Pakistan has arrested some 300 al Qaeda suspects so far, and these men are interrogated by US CIA and FBI staff. Pakistan has also found some Pakistani terrorists moving back and forth between Afghanistan and Pakistan and has arrested some of these during border sweeps. 

In the Pakistani Northwest Tribal Territories, twelve people died as members of the Dawar and Wazir tribes fought over a land dispute. .
