Pakistan is cracking down on Islamic radical groups that target other Islamic sects for not being Islamic enough. Over a dozen most active fundamentalists have been arrested. Most of the strife is between Sunni radical groups against Shias. Most Moslems in Pakistan are Sunni, but there are dozens of Islamic sects, most quite small and many considered heretical by Sunni fundamentalists. Hundreds die each year from the battles between armed radicals of these factions. The religious zealots also attack non-Moslems, particularly Christians.
