In Kashmir, rebels attacked a Hindu village, killing eight and wounding six civilians. While the Moslem rebels in Kashmir have long attacked non-Moslems in Indian Kashmir, in Pakistan, this is often blamed on India, as a ploy to make Moslems look bad. 

Pakistan will be billing the US $60 a month for logistical support provided to American forces operating in Afghanistan. Pakistan is also seeing a noticeable boost in its economy because of all the money going into Afghanistan (and usually buying stuff from Pakistani firms.)

Indian border guards have killed 35 Bangladeshis on the border over the last six months, including four over the weekend. Most of the dead men (and many more who apparently fled) were trying to sneak into India.
