The Russian Air Force plans to refit its Su-25 Frogfoot ground attack planes with new avionics and new laser-guided and television-guided weapons. The first two aircraft refitted with the new gear are now in flight tests, and the program to refit the entire fleet will begin sometime in 2002 if money can be found.--Stephen V Cole
