Procurement: The Big Three Missile Merchants

July 31, 2011: A recent study found that between 1987 and 2009, some 1,200 ballistic missiles were sold to developing (poor) nations (mainly Egypt, Iran, Libya, Pakistan Syria, Yemen and UAE (United Arab Emirates). Three nations supplied nearly all of the missiles (North Korea 40 percent, Russia 33 percent and China 23 percent).
