mso-bidi-language: AR-SA"> The air force's new MiG-27 and Kfir fighters made more attacks in Jaffna, A senior rebel leader was apparently killed in one of these raids. It was also reported that the rebels are using older, but still effective, Russian SAM-7 portable surface to air missiles. In the north, a suicide bomber jumped in front of an army truck and detonated his explosives. A nearby nine year old girl was killed, and five others were wounded (including two soldiers.)
