Acting on a tip, Israeli troops seized a cache of weapons in an abandoned West Bank prison near Nablus. They found 17 AK-47s and 20 magazines of ammunition. Israel continues to raid into Palestinian territory for operations like this and to arrest specific individuals suspected of terrorist activities. But the number of raids has gone down in order to give the new Palestinian government an opportunity to work out a peace deal.
