The government has handed over, to the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), information requested about the nature and extent of nuclear research in Iran. IAEA now has to double check the report to make sure everything is there. 

October 21, 2003: The government has agreed to comply with IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) demands that it prove it is not trying to develop nuclear weapons. Apparently a combination of factors caused this decision. One was the threat of an embargo by European nations that back the IAEA. Then there is the threat of Israeli air raids on Iranian nuclear facilities. Finally, there is the internal battle between Islamic conservatives and moderates, with the latter wanting to drop the
