Serb police and judicial authorities now publicly say they believe they have arrested most of the key people involved in the assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic. One Serb police report says the man they believe pulled the trigger has confessed to be part of the murder conspiracy. That would be Zvezdan Jovanovic, former deputy commander of the now-disbanded Serb special state police Unit for Special Operations (the JSO see previous reports). However, a Serb press source says Milorad Lukovic, former JSO commander, is still at large. Lukovic (nickname Legija which mean Legionnaire), is the suspected mastermind behind the plot.
