Okay, corruption is a problem. StrategyPage readers may recall Bulgaria has been trying to craft an effective government anti-corruption policy. On April 24 Bulgaria and the US signed an agreement that provides US help to Bulgarias counter-corruption fight. USAID will coordinate the US effort. A press statement said NGOs will also be part of the mix. Initial US commitment to the anti-corruption campaign is $6.8 million.
