Milosevic turns the screws tighter on Montenegro. On July 24 the Yugoslav army closed the Albanian-Montenegrin border. On the same day Yugoslav Army border guards fired at a Montenegrin police boat patrolling Lake Skadar (on the Montenegrin-Albanian border). The Yugoslav Army later claimed that the patrol boat was "not clearly identified."
