A dozen Turkish F-16 fighters landed at the Greek Nea Anchiaolos Air Force Base on 28 May for NATO Dynamic Mix exercises that concluded on 10 June. This was the first time that Turkish fighters had landed at a Greek airbase in 28 years. Greek fighters will go to Turkey this fall for the Distant Glory NATO wargames. As a gesture of good will, Turkey reduced the size of its annual Sea Wolf and Ephessus wargames (a constant annoyance to the Greeks) held on 8-9 June.--Stephen V Cole
