Montenegro and Serbia will meet on October 26 to discuss how to "redefine" their relationship.

NATO's deputy commander said NATO would be a "long term presence" in Albania. 1800 NATO troops remain in Albania, serving in Zone Communication West for KFOR operations in Kosovo.

Istanbul security forces arrested ten members of a group calling itself the East Turkestan Liberation Organization (ETLO). The ETLO is allegedly involved in attack on Chinese nationals in Turkey. Members of the ETLO come from Zinjiang province in China, a region populated by ethnic Turks. The Uighurs (wee-gers) are the largest ethnic Turk group in Xinjiang.
