Tajik police arrested two people trying to sell nine pounds of radioactive mercury. There is a lot of radioactive material left over from Soviet era facilities in Central Asia and it is feared that Islamic terrorist organizations will get their hands on some of this stuff eventually. Such material can be used to make "dirty bombs."
