The Dutch have warned their partners that the TRIGAT missile is too heavy and is not performing up to expected standards, and that they are considering termination of their participation. The Dutch have spent $30 million so far on the program; the Germans, Belgians, French, and British have spent more. The TRIGAT program is basically a European effort to stay in the anti-tank missile business, but there are serious doubts as to the performance of the missile. --Stephen V Cole
