Australia and the U.S. have offered the use of transport aircraft to help move peacekeepers into Darfur.
The Arab media is doing it's best to ignore Darfur, or else present it as a plot by Westerners to deflect world opinion from atrocities being committed by infidels (non-Moslems) on Moslems elsewhere. This attitude assures that Sudan will have Arab support in the UN to block any UN action against Sudan. However, the European Union has threatened sanctions if the government does not "act" (in some unspecified way) in the next two months.
