 Darfur will get 4.500 African Union peacekeepers by the end of November. But in the meantime, disease and malnutrition has killed some 70,000 of the 1.6 million Darfur refugees. This is in addition to the over 10,000 killed by the government supported raiders. The government insists the number of dead from both causes is less than 10,000.
