The government announced that it had convicted a Syrian for training Saudis and Palestinians to conduct attacks against US forces in Iraq. The same report said the man was involved in preparing personnel to attack a "Jewish" (Israeli) target in Eritrea. The man, however, was sentenced to only one month in prison.
