The Sudanese government (Khartoum) claimed that its forces stopped an SPLA attack on a train in the Bahd el-Ghazal region. The train was bound for the town of Aweil. Other reports suggest the SPLA is preparing to attack the government-held towns of Kayala, Torit, and Magwe.
