The Turkish government said it wants a common definition of terrorism. Why? One report suggested the Turkish government believes other governments in Europe turn a blind eye to the PKK, and see them as freedom fighters instead of terrorists. Apparently Turkey is having trouble getting unnamed nations to cooperate in stopping funding for the PKK. The report said Turkey is going to ask the UN to define terrorism and create a universal definition.
