Othman Ocalan, brother of imprisoned PKK leader Apo Ocalan, issued a statement saying that the PKK will resist Turkish troops if they occupy northern Iraq (ie, Iraqi Kurd territory). The statement is both headline-generating bravado and a warning that the PKK could act to trigger trouble for Turkish peacekeepers in Iraq. Stay tuned.
