The Turk-Kurd ceasefire is an iffy proposition. On May 24 Turkish forces killed 10 Kurdish guerrillas in gun battles in northern Iraq, a newspaper reported Wednesday. On May 25 3,000 Turkish troops launched a cross-border attack against PKK positions inside Iraq's province of Hakkari.
