Iran has ordered 30 more Mi-171(Sh) helicopters from Russia. (This is the export designation of the Mi-17 Hip.) Iran ordered five of these aircraft (rigged for search and rescue, then armed by Iranian industry) in 1998, and just received the last of an order for 21 Mi-171(Sh) aircraft. --Stephen V Cole
