Fighting continued south of the Burundi capital, where troops and FNL rebels have been skirmishing for several days. At least half a dozen rebels have been killed. The few thousand armed members of the FNL live in remote camps south of the capital. Sometimes, groups of FNL members come closer to the capital looking for food.
