The US Army has decided to support a proposal by Special Operations Command to buy another 25 MH-47 heavy lift special mission helicopters as well as another ten MH-60 special mission BlackHawks. These are needed to insure that every theater commander has enough special mission helicopters to use his special forces in the event of a crisis without waiting for some to be borrowed from other theaters.--Stephen V Cole
