The Pentagon has notified Congress of plans to upgrade six more Egyptian CH-47Cs to the improved CH-47D model. The contract would amount to $155 million if all six are upgraded. This would allow the cargo helicopters to also carry troops, improving Egypt's ability to work with US forces.--Stephen V Cole
