SRI LANKA: Analysis of the airliners damaged in the 24 July LTTE attack on the main Sri Lankan airport indicates that (in addition to the A340 and two A330s destroyed) one A340 was damaged beyond repair, one A320 was damaged but can be repaired, and one A320 was damaged and engineers cannot yet say if it can be repaired. --Stephen V Cole
