The Army (quietly admitting that Medium Brigades won't work in some situations) is getting more and more interested in using huge Lighter Than Air cargo aircraft to move large amounts of military equipment to a conflict theater faster than ships could. The technology is still being developed, and the Army doesn't want to buy the aircraft. It wants to lease them or let commercial freight haulers buy them and make them part of the Civil Reserve Air Fleet.--Stephen V Cole
