In the south, an 11 pound bomb went off outside a bank early in the morning, wounding two women joggers who happened to be passing by. There has been a decrease in violence by Islamic terrorists, which is probably due to the thousands of additional soldiers and police sent to the three southern provinces where most of the violence is taking place. Terrorist threats to take their attacks to other parts of Thailand have not materialized yet.
