A curfew was imposed in an eastern town after Moslems rioted to protest LTTE rebels kidnapping a Moslem man. Many LTTE supporters want to drive all non-Tamils out of majority Tamil areas and Sri Lankan Moslems are particularly disliked because of the tension between India (that the LTTE identifies with) and Moslem Pakistan.
