Fighting in the north left at least ten LTTE rebels and one policeman dead today. Police have caught many more terrorists in the south lately, and interrogations of the captives indicates that the LTTE it is raising the level of terrorism to influence a delegation of Norwegian diplomats visiting the country to try and set up peace talks.  The government plans to raise it's defense budget 11.5 percent, to $728 million, mainly to increase efforts against the LTTE rebels..
