Sixteen died in fighting today, most were LTTE rebels, one was a civilian caught in the crossfire. Government troops also suspect that the LTTE is using guided anti-tank missiles. An army armored vehicle was destroyed by what appeared to be such a missile ten days ago. The missile fragments are being examined to determine what the exact weapon used was.
