A cargo ship, chartered by Somali businessmen to bring in thousands of tons of goods, including food and fuel,  more cheaply than truck and air shipments, was forced to leave without unloading. Several warlords could not agree on who would control the port and collect a fee for allowing the ship to unload. This would have been the first cargo ship to enter the port of Mogadishu in years.
