Two Ethiopian soldiers assigned to assigned to ONUB (United Nations Operation in Burundi) have been "repatriated" to Ethiopia. The soldiers violated the UN military forces' sexual misconduct rules-- in place after investigation revealed extensive sexual abuse and exploitation by UN soldiers serving in the Congo. Ethiopia is responsible for discipline. ONUB is a UN Chapter VII peacekeeping mission, established by UNSCR 1545 in May 2004. The peacekeepers support the Arusha Agreement (peace agreement which led to the Hutu rebel FDD ending its insurgency).
