Burundi claimed it had closed 25 more "regroupment" camps in the Bujumbura region. This means five "regroupment" camps still remain in operation. As previously reported in FYEO, the "regroupment" camps have served as either detention camps or protected sites (or both) for Hutus in Burundi.
