The security service captured all ten members of an Islamic Jihad cell in the West Bank. The cell was responsible for killing sixteen Israelis and received money and instructions from Islamic Jihad headquarters in Syria and Lebanon. The Syrian connection, and Lebanese tolerance for many terrorist operations in its territory, makes another Israeli invasion of Lebanon (and war with Syria) a constant possibility.
