Israel made an air attack on suspected Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon. This came after a mortar attack that injured an Israeli allied militiaman in southern Lebanon. Iran has apparently been increasing it's aid to Hezbollah to encourage increased attacks on Israeli targets.

December 1; Senior Chinese official Le Peng made a low key visit to Israel to inspect work on the AWACs aircraft Israel is building for China. No doubt, additional projects of the same nature were discussed.
