The governor of Aceh province will go to trial for corruption next week. Corruption is a major problem in Indonesia, and previous anti-corruption campaigns have produced little in the way of results. The current campaign is trying to target some high profile politicians, in order to make it look like anti-corruption efforts are having an impact.
