The US State Department has warned Americans to be extra careful if visiting Indonesia during the Christmas season. Islamic radicals are apt to pop up anywhere and the police are not inclined to act until after something has happened. To do otherwise (take preventive action) often gets the local Moslems inflamed and on a rampage.
