Although the government and the AUC continue to carry out their agreements to disarm the rebel organization, the army and police continue to go after portions of the AUC that are still deep in the drug business. In the last 56 AUC members were arrested for participating in the drug business, and killing over a hundred people in the last 18 months. Among the AUC members rounded up were three men who worked for the security forces.
