In central Colombia, troops killed another FARC leader (Jose Antonio Vargas Toloza) along with three other FARC fighters. Government forces have been making more of a dent in the FARC leadership in the last year, partly because of better intelligence (more Colombians are willing to supply information) and partly because of more active military operations.
