Romania claimed that its intelligence agency (Romanian Intelligence Service, SRI) stopped a possible Iraqi-sponsored terror attack. The attack was to be against US and Israeli targets in Romania. The terror group was going to use grenade launchers and explosives. The connection to Iraq? The Romanian report said the Iraqi Embassy was supplying the grenade launchers. No other details on the plot were reported.
